The Signal Officer takes great pride in presenting to the officers of the Third U.S. Army headquarters this pictorial evidence of certain phases or our campaign in Northern Europe. In a small
way, these pictures represent the work of the officers and men of the
166th Signal Photo Company and attached personnel. Regardless of difficulties,
hardships or the danger of close combat, the men of the 166th have always
loyally and effeciently accomplished their mission. The photographs
shown herein are an enduring testimony and visual commendation to the
excellence of that work. It is hoped that these photographs will serve
as a reminder of a difficult task well done, and of the exciting days
we spent together under the inspired leadership of our Army Commander,
General George S. Patton, Jr. |
